- Is the aura scientific?
- No, and we never claim it is. The aura and archetypes are Pet Aura Studio’s storytelling layer — a portrait built honestly from your questionnaire answers and logged observations, always labelled as interpretation. The underlying personality dimensions are straightforward arithmetic over your answers, and they are labelled separately as computed values.
- Does this replace my pet’s official passport or vet records?
- No. The Digital Companion Passport is a structured, always-current profile that is wonderful for sitters, travel prep and emergencies — but it is not an official government or EU veterinary passport, and health records you enter are informational, not medical documentation.
- What happens to my genetic report after I upload it?
- We extract what we can read, show you every extracted value next to the original document, and nothing becomes part of your pet’s profile until you verify it. Lab values are never altered, rounded or reinterpreted, and they carry a “Verified” badge that other content cannot get.
- Is my data used to train AI models?
- No. AI features use the minimum context needed to write a given story or insight, and your data is not used for model training. You can switch off AI processing entirely in Settings → Privacy, and export or delete everything at any time.
- What does the free plan include?
- One pet, the personality questionnaire, a basic aura reading, ten memories, the timeline and the training journal. Enough to fall in love with the idea before paying anything.
- Can I export my data?
- Always. Settings → Privacy → Request export produces a ZIP with all your data as JSON plus your original photos and documents. No lock-in — it’s your pet’s story, not ours.
- What if my pet passes away?
- The archive stays exactly as you built it, for as long as you want it. Many owners tell us this becomes the most valuable thing about it.
